Quentin Tarantino
Biografía
Quentin Jerome Tarantino (nacido el 27 de marzo de 1963) es un director de cine, guionista, productor, cinematógrafo y actor estadounidense. A principios de la década de 1990, era un cineasta independiente cuyas películas usaban historias no lineales y estetización de la violencia. Sus películas le han valido una variedad de Premios de la Academia, Globo de Oro, BAFTA y Premios Palme d'Or y ha sido nominado para los Premios Emmy y Grammy. En 2007, Total Film lo nombró el duodécimo mejor director de todos los tiempos. Tarantino nació en Knoxville, Tennessee, hijo de Connie McHugh Tarantino Zastoupil, un ejecutivo de atención médica y enfermero nacido en Knoxville, y Tony Tarantino, actor y músico aficionado nacido en Queens, Nueva York.
