Karli likes to pose as a battle-hardened army veteran, but in reality he is a vending machine cracker. Marie, once the beauty queen of Mingkofen, has little to expect from life since the death of her well-to-do husband. When their paths cross, two damaged existences meet who are more alike than they initially believe.
