One day, Tommy Skagen, who seems withdrawn, moves into Martha's apartment building with his eight-year-old brother Winnie. Tommy, who studies law during the day, often disappears at night, leaving his brother alone. Illegal mixed martial arts fights take place in the docks below St. Pauli. Here, fighters without boxing gloves or head protection compete against each other for high stakes. Tommy is one of them. He loves fighting and he needs the money. But his double life is increasingly overwhelming him.
