Eva Marie Saint
Biografía
Eva Marie Saint (nacida el 4 de julio de 1924) es una actriz estadounidense que ha protagonizado películas, Broadway y televisión en una carrera que abarca siete décadas. Es conocida por aportar profundidad emocional y complejidad a sus papeles, en los que generalmente interpretaba Mujeres que parecen frágiles pero tienen una gran fuerza interior. Ganó un Premio de la Academia a la Mejor Actriz de Reparto por su actuación en la película dramática "On the Waterfront" (1954), y luego protagonizó la película de suspenso "North by Northwest" (1959), dirigida por Alfred Hitchcock. Saint recibió nominaciones al Globo de Oro y al BAFTA por la película dramática "A Hatful of Rain" (1957) y ganó un premio Emmy por la miniserie de televisión People Like Us (1990).
